New York — December 6 to 8
Salt & Stone, one of my favorite body care brands, is hosting a three-day pop-up experience in downtown New York in partnership with Seen Library!
Friday, December 6 to Sunday, December 8
From 11am to 7pm
95 Rivington St, New York, NY 10002
Guests will be able to purchase both curated books and full-sized Body Mist and Candles, which will come with free engraving — as well as holiday gift sets. The first 40 customers will receive limited edition Seen Library hats.
Everyone is invited to browse and shop a limited quantity of intentionally curated books that are wrapped in Seen Library’s signature creamy paper with clues written atop a custom library card, so that you can choose a book by its content, not its cover.
Much like Salt & Stone’s fragrances, the curation of books will provide a sense of escapism all while centering around a single theme: A life lived in motion.
The characters and ideas of these books portray a state of constant flux – navigating the shifting landscapes of their lives, environments, identities and relationships. These stories highlight ongoing movement, change and evolution—whether physical, emotional or intellectual.
Los Angeles — December 7 and 8
The Seen Library Bookstand is back at Platform on December 7 and 8 for the third time, just in time for the holiday season! It’s open to the public and to any book lover and reader — for the new and old, the casual and serious.

Delicious custom matcha and hojicha lattes by Little Match Studio will also be available for purchase, along with new Seen Library items like mini totes, tanks and our signature hat — exclusive to the pop up! My mom will also be back to tie dark chocolate velvet bows to wrapped books, for those who want it :)
London — December 15 (second date opened up!)
Because the spots for the upcoming gathering on December 14 filled up so quickly, I am doing a second one on Sunday, December 15!
Sunday, December 15

This will be the second open-to-the-public book giving in London. On Sunday, December 15, we invite you to join us in Nanushka’s space in Mayfair, complete with cafe, lounge-inspired rooms and an indoor garden, where each guest will choose from a curated selection of wrapped books, join in conversation, make new friendships, and enjoy cafe bites and beverages.
Each book will be wrapped in Seen Library’s signature creamy paper adorned with a library card of handwritten clues so you can choose a book by its contents rather than its cover. The books, carefully curated by Seen Library, center on a single theme: Close Encounters. These stories center around key interactions or experiences that have a deep impact on the characters and the narrative, often involving meaningful moments of connection or confrontation. We will then join in a group discussion after selecting books.
