in my closet: cashmere cardigans, designer shoes i've worn for years and the ones i wish i didn't buy
04: my most worn pieces, buyer's remorse and the secondhand and on sale items i want to add to cart
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed that I often reach for the same items over and over. Maybe I’ve leaned more into what I like and feel my best in, maybe I’ve gotten sick of keeping up with all the newest trends, maybe I want to spend less time standing in front of my closet wondering what to wear, or maybe it’s all of the above. So in this series, I’ll share pieces I constantly rewear and in this particular piece, some secondhand and on sale items I have my eyes on…
Remember, purchase only what you think you’ll get a lot of wear from. If you already have a white tank you love, don’t order another. If you have a go-to bag that goes with everything, keep it that way. And if you are thinking about buying any of the below, take a few days to before adding to cart. I personally keep a Google sheet where I add items I want with the link and price and wait 48 hours to see if I still want it.
Below, you’ll find a chic 90s minimalist cashmere cardigan, designer shoes I’ve had for over 5 years (and still wear!) and secondhand and on sale pieces that I *want* to add to cart.
What I’m re-wearing:
The Natasha High Neck by Sisterhood: A closet staple, especially for these cooler months. I’m actually wearing it right now as I type this. I have it in both black and cream and wear both a ton as I find that they’re super easy to style — whether with a loose trouser, with a tailored skirt like pictured below, or to throw on for a Zoom meeting with lounge pants.
In photo: Natasha High Neck, Almina Midi Skirt, RLT Vintage Belt, The Row Everyday Bag that I wear almost daily (in black here and here) and vintage Jil Sander pumps (similar here and here).
