The next Seen Library book giving is almost here and this time, it will take place in Highland Park at KOTN.
I’ve been a long-time fan of the brand, who create their products by working with smallholder farmers and donate a portion of proceeds with each order to fund and build primary schools in Egypt, funding 21 schools so far. But it wasn’t until I was invited to a dinner in their space a couple years ago that I felt firsthand how much community meant to them. As someone who goes to many brand-led dinners, theirs felt different. I was so impressed by how intentional they were in bringing a beautiful group together — not one built around numbers at the top of their profile, but around a variety of people doing really cool and different things in various industries, including painters, musicians, ceramicists, designers and more.
From the way they work with and invest in farmers and students in Egypt to the way they carefully curate guests for a dinner, community is something they take seriously from such a genuine place. Which is why I am so excited to partner with them for the next Seen Library event.
Thanks to KOTN, this event is free of charge and open to the public with 20 spots available. As always, all ages and gender identities are welcome. Food and beverages will be provided and each guest will take home a book curated by Seen Library, centered around a theme inspired by KOTN's origin story, as told by their founder Rami:
