no one asked: new favorite trousers (that are on sale), beauty auditing and the hunger games movie
15: what i'm watching, re-wearing and doing this weekend...
Re-wearing…
These super sexy (and comfortable) Silk Laundry 100% silk chiffon sheer black trousers. I first saw them on my friend Maya (pictured here) in New York and immediately had to have them. Lucky for you, they’re still on sale at SSENSE and if you happen to be an XS, I’ve found them even cheaper secondhand on The Real Real. I recently wore them with an oversized ribbed cardigan (found on Depop for super cheap!) for a cozy look and with a black cashmere sweater from Michael Stars with heels for a more nighttime look.
Other favorites here and here.

This one on the realities of beauty maintenance by @crystaluncut. I know I’ve talked about this many times before, but it’s one I feel so strongly about! She shares how another creator expressed her frustrations at how much beauty services cost — getting nails, hair, lashes, etc. done. And while it’s true, these services are pricey, at the end of the day, they aren’t necessary. And it’s up to us to determine not only what we can actually afford but what we want to put our money towards. She goes on to say that if you’re feeling financial stress, an important first step is to audit the beauty services we are spending our money on and really ask ourselves if we actually need them (we don’t) or have just been conditioned to think we need them.

Looking forward to…
This weekend aka the last Seen Library event of the year, which is happening in just 3 days!!! I can’t believe it’s already here… My mom and I have been preparing for this pop up for months and it’s weird to imagine my house back to its original state before books and post-its and paper rolls and library cards took over the floors and surfaces.
